When I hear the word Africa my heart beats faster! Meeting the African people, their happiness and their needs, the poverty and the unbelievable drive to survive has really touched me in my heart. I want to do something for those people and I want to help them with what's in my power to do so. I want to help them become self sustainable and independent. I feel privileged to be a part of Doingoood foundation and to be able to be actively involved in supporting the projects. With all my heart and filled with passion I want to make a contribution to the people in Africa.

I am the initiator of Doingoood foundation. I wanted to start the foundation due to the great needs of the Kenyan people that I have seen over the years, during my many visits to this beautiful country. I visited Kenya for the first time in 2005 and I went back in 2006 to volunteer in an orphanage and a street boys rehabilitation centre. 
That experience was a life changer for me and I realized that my destiny is to make a positive change in other people's lives.
Africa, and Kenya in particular, has totally captured my heart. I have a great desire to actively contribute to development projects which focus on the underprivileged and especially on children.

Doingoood foundation supports development projects with financial and material donations. We have the aim of increasing self sustainability. We want to give people who live in extreme poverty hope for the future. I believe one person can make a difference. Imagine what can happen if we collaborate in making a diffence! In December 2009 I visited Kenya for the first time. Words can not describe what I have seen there. The level of poverty is big and nevertheless you see the children in the projects smiling. I have talked a lot with the kids; about how they live through the days on the streets. We live in such a wealthy country, where you can buy anything. Whe I was asked to join the board of the foundation I agreed. I want to contribute to the projects and give those children a better life.
